About me

Vaishali Bhatt currently serves as the Assistant VP at The Hartford Insurance Group, a premier provider of property and casualty insurance in Europe and the U.S. Vaishali spearheads various pivotal initiatives, such as platform transformations across the enterprise, cloud resiliency, recovery, and cyber defense strategies, spanning diverse business sectors. In her past roles, Vaishali has led engineering teams in the development of cloud products and in architecting enterprise strategies that catalyze business transformation.

As a tech strategist, Vaishali boasts expertise in technology overhauls and change management, especially within the Financial and Auto sectors. She excels at fostering new teams and magnifying expansive global projects, all while nurturing collaboration within complex global organizations.

Technology Leader

Vaishali's initial years of programming began in COBOL, DB2, CICS at US bank and Chrysler Group. Her commitment to continuous learning and embracing challenges propelled her through realms of Data Management, Web, Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, and Technology Transformation. Recently, Stanford Graduate School of Business honored her with the “Stanford LEAD Distinguished Scholar”, recognizing her relentless pursuit of knowledge in Corporate Strategy, Innovation and Change Management.

Beyond her corporate feats, Vaishali is a fervent advocate for mentorship and professional development. She dedicates her time to guiding her Stanford peers in technology strategy. She also leads The Hartford’s Professional Women Network advocating learning and mentorship. She champions the T200 non-profit's mission to uplift women in tech leadership. Additionally, Vaishali played an integral role in orchestrating the T200 IWD and annual flagship summit attended by global CIOs and accomplished speakers.

As a seasoned public speaker, Vaishali often leads community events with her insights. She has penned various articles on technology and lifestyle. Vaishali exhibits a flair for music as a lead vocalist, having showcased her talent across North America. Vaishali lives in Michigan, with her husband and two daughters.
